He was educated in Jackson, NH schools.

For several years he was employed in lumbering operations.

He has been a resident of this community for the past 25 years.

He was employed as a carpenter by a Kenneth Kennagh contractor prior to his illness.

He was a veteran of WWI having served overseas.

He was a member of Mount Moriah Lodge, F and AM, Denmark, ME; he was also a member of Floyd Harlow Jr Post, VFW of Norway, ME.

He is survived by two stepdaughters Mrs Ruth Cobb of Portland, ME; Mrs Ethel Liberty of Bridgton, ME; a stepson Clarence Micklon of South Paris, ME; a brother Leonard Arbo of North Yarmouth, ME.
