Phil E. Simmons Sr. was born June 8, 1930, in Nocona and had resided in Haltom City for 50 years. He retired from Crown Cork and Seal in 1982.
Survivors: Wife of 46 years, Betty Sue Simmons of Haltom City; sons, Phil E. Simmons Jr. and his wife, Jeri, Richard "Dicky" Simmons and his wife, Pam, and M. David Simmons; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many loving family members and friends.
