Mr. Ball was 70 years of age and had many friends in and near this city, who will learn of his death with regret.
Mr. Ball made his home on the Crater farm about six miles east of this city. He is survived by the widow, three sons, W.E., J.E. and J.A. Ball of this section, and by one daughter, Mrs. Emma Overman, of Asheboro.
The services were conducted by Rev. Michael Farlow. Interment was in the church graveyard.
