Rebecca "Becky" J. Potter, of Harrisonville, MO died peacefully Saturday, September 14 at St. Joseph's Medical Center surrounded by family.
Becky, eldest daughter of Shirley and the late Joseph Wiseman, was born in 1953. She graduated from Ruskin High School then lived and worked in the Kansas City area. Becky and husband, Kenneth Potter, married in 1973, celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary in August this year.
An avid reader, Becky's life was her family. She leaves behind, to celebrate her memory husband Ken; daughters Jennifer Mann (Patrick) and Kelley Stitt (Greg); grandchildren Janelle, Tyler, Emily, Madi, and Mason; mother Shirley Wiseman; brother Tom Wiseman (Pat); sister Debbie Richardson (Robert); and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 18 at the Langsford Funeral Home, 115 W. 3rd St., Lees Summit, MO 64063. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 19 at the Lone Jack Cemetery, Hwy. 50, Lone Jack, MO 64070.
