MILFORD John A. Ferrucci, 82, of Milford, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Lucile (Tuttle) Ferrucci of 54 years. He was born in Milford, son of the late John M. and Anita (Tosches) Ferrucci and stepson of the late Mary Chiaramonte Ferrucci, and was a lifelong Milford resident. Mr. Ferrucci was educated in the Milford schools. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a heavily decorated veteran who jumped into Normandy with the 82nd Airborne Div. on D-Day. He was a retired brewery worker employed for Budweiser and Mooney Company in Natick. He was previously employed at the former Carlings Brewery in Natick. He was the Past Senior Vice President of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a member of the Milford Italian Veterans, past town meeting member, member and Past commander of the D.A.V. Chapter 6 in Milford, he was an auxiliary police officer for the town of Milford for 53 years and served as auxiliary police chief for many years, also a past Grand Marshall for the Memorial Day Parade in Milford. He was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lisa Ferrucci of Milford, Lynn Ferrucci of Upton; three sisters, Rita Abbondanza and Elena Compagnone, both of Milford, Grace Rossetti of Medway; four grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother Arthur Ferrucci. The funeral will be held Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at 10 a.m., from Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home (www.consigliruggeriofuneralhome.com), 46 Water St. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St. Burial will follow in the in the Parish Cemetery in Milford. Calling hours are Monday, Feb. 25, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m.
