Charleston - Mrs. Rozella Shively of Charleston died today at the Delta Community Hospital in Sikeston. She was 88 years old.
She was born Oct. 30, 1891, in the Rush Ridge Community in Mississippi County to James Silas Swank and Rachel Jane Rush Swank.
She lived most of her life in Mississippi County though she had made her home the last three years with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Howell Shively.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church here.
On Nov. 26, 1914, she married William Walter Shively, who preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1977. A brother and a sister also preceded her in death.
In addition, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Feezor; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at the McMikle Funeral Home here. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery here.
