Larry was born April 9, 1946 in Dayton, to parents; Milo, Sr. and Elsie Green Griffith, and a longtime resident of Navasota. He was a graduate of the Barbers Hill High School, veteran of the US Army National Guard, a retired guard for the TDCJ in Huntsville, and was Methodist by faith. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, horses, hunting, and fishing.
Mr. Griffith was preceded in death by his parents, grandson: Jacob M. Farabee, and sister: Della Griffith Abke. He is survived by his daughter: Jo Farabee and husband Mike of Liberty, son: Lloyd Alan Griffith of Liberty, grandchildren: Megan Nicole Farabee and Mikaela Jo Farabee, brothers: Milo Griffith, Jr. and wife Elaine of Dayton and Melvin Griffith and wife Barbara of Ames, sister: Merle Morris and husband Frank of Dayton, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
