MRS. SIDNEY E. D. STUDLEY

Mrs. Charlena T. Studley, 63, a life-time resident of Waquoit, died Sunday at her home after a heart illness of several months.

Mrs. Studley was born in Waquoit May 21, 1876, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Lumbert, and lived her life there except for a few years in Chatham when she was young. She was an honorary member of the V. F. W. Auxiliary, an associate member of the Daughters of Union Veterans, a member of Megansett Grange, Yemassee Council, Degree of Pocahontas, and the Waquoit Sewing Circle.

Besides her husband, Sidney E. D. Studley of Waquoit, she is survived by her father, a brother, Frank Lumbert of Medford; a sister, Mrs. Stanley W. Hart of New York; four sons, Arthur, Myron, and Elmer Studley of Waquoit, and Milton Studley of Falmouth; three daughters, Mrs. Ella Drew of Hyannis, Mrs. Eric Pierce and Miss Marion Studley of Waquoit, and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Waquoit Congregational Church, the Rev. Richard L. Bailey officiating. Burial was in Bay View Cemetery, Waquoit.
