Bessie Elizabeth East Warren, 89, of Lexington Health Care, formerly of Hege Dr., Lexington died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Lexington Health Care.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Center Point Church with Rev. Barry Surratt officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home

Mrs. Warren was born December 21, 1923 in Stokes County to Jessie Reid East and Lillie Mae Lynch East. She was a homemaker and a member of Rock House Primitive Baptist Church in Stokes County. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Fred C. Warren, three brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are a son, Clarence Michael Warren (Regina) of Lexington; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a sister, Frances Tuttle of Burlington and a special niece, Reba Hurlocker.
