Gary Gene Queen, 49, of Robbinsville, NC, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013, in Moberly, MO. He was the son of Tommy and Lavada Orr Queen of Robbinsville, NC. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Queen. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Alissa Jane "Janie" Adams Queen; his brother and sister in law, Barry and Kasey Queen of Robbinsville, NC; his sister and brother in law, Meshell Phillips and Lloyd Roberts of Robbinsville, NC; his step son, Jonathan Tyler Hyde of Blue Ridge, GA; his step daughter, Tamara Jenine Silvers of Robbinsville, NC; his nieces, Kristy Phillips, Kazlynn Ann Queen, and Hannah Moose; his nephews, Jacob Phillips, Bryce Tommy Queen, Christopher Claytor, Cruz Claytor, and Benny Moose. He has five grandchildren, Brook, Brock, and Preston Hyde, and Ivy and Landon Silvers. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverends Patrick Odell, Noah Crowe, and Daniel Stewart will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 till 7:00 pm Thursday at the Chapel prior to the service. committal Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 20, 2013 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
