Harry Reid Jr., 73 of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the Center for Hospice.
Harry was born on October 14, 1939 in South Bend Indiana to the union of Harry Reid Sr. and Elsie (Scott) Reid.
Harry retired after 32 years with Uniroyal. Harry enjoyed fishing, cooking, and watching football, especially Notre Dame and the Chicago Bears.
Harry is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nancy Reid; along with seven Daughters, Angela Reid-Brown (Jimmy), Donna Gary, Rochelle Williams (Roy), Stephanie Smith, Stacey Anderson (Rulondo, Sr.), Dana Jackson and Amelia Chatman; two sons, Daryl Reid, Sr., and Carlton Smith, Sr. Surviving Grandchildren, Tarah Reid, Jessica Brown, Kyle Brown, Carmen Woods, Toni Woods, Nikki Easton, Brittney Thomas, Shaunette Byers Parker, Maurice Lindsay, Daryl Reid, Jr., Donte Lauderdale, Dawnsha Lauderdale, Ashley Lauderdale, Carlton Smith, Jr., Chelsea Smith, Evan Tillery, Rulondo Anderson, Jr., Rhylan Anderson, Destiny Jackson, Dynasty Jackson, Ariel Agnew, Isaiah Suggs, Amaya Suggs; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Shirley Carter, Maxine Taylor, and Nadine (LeVar) Johnson, a special Aunt, Geraldine Scott, and a special daughter-in-law, Tina Herron-Smith.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Norma Jean Blanchard, Betty Spann and Mary Johnson.
