suggested data kindly shared by PMWF:
Frederick Hart, son of Dolly. Born Nov. 1775 Kentucky Co. VA died Oct 24, 1864 in Lorain Co. Ohio. A reference to his birth can be found in the book by historians Henry Enoch and Anne Crabb entitled Women at Fort Boonesborough, 1775-1784, page 80-81. Dolly's son Frederick was the first birth of the pioneers that settled the territory of Kentucky and was mentioned, by name, in the Frankfort Commonwealth Newspaper in 1841. His wife Judith Brown may have been a servant of the Brown family of Franklin Co KY. Frederick and Judith were both freed before 1850.
Follow up research connected to work begun by PMWF, submitted by RBG:
Frederick was born to Dolly at Fort Boonesborough, KY in November of 1775, enslaved by Col. Richard Callaway. He was likely sold to the Hart family as a young child. Both Judith Brown and Frederick Hart were enslaved by the Orlando Brown family at Liberty Hall, Frankfort KY; Frederick was manumitted first, then Judith, then their two children Sarah Jane and Henry; they moved to Lorain Co. Ohio in the early to mid 1850s.
