She was born January 19, 1926, to the late Denny Franklin Osborne and Mary Ellen Cox Osborne. She went on to meet the Lord and her Savior after an extended illness.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Danny Carlton; a brother, Pete Osborne and sisters, Shirley Santini and Louise Angel.
She leaves behind a son, Jake Carlton and his wife Cindy of Cleveland, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Sandy Carlton; grandchildren, Danny and Carrie Carlton of Hollywood, Fla.; nieces, Denise Nickless of Cameron and Donna Roach of Cameron; sister-in-law, Margaret Osborne and nephew, Paul Santini.
Libby went to Miami Fla. and married Jake Carlton Sr. They had two children.
She was active in church fundraisers and would ring the bell for the Salvation Army at Christmas time. She will be missed with her sense of humor and her love of life.

A memorial service for her will be held at Lemon Springs United Methodist Church on Saturday January 24, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Terry Hobbs officiating. Burial will be in Lemon Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
