Funeral services for Mrs. Guy Hoover, 68, of 313 1/2 E. 8th St., will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Mathias church.
The body is now at the Riley funeral home, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock this evening.
Burial will be at the old St. Joseph cemetery, Iowa City.
Mrs. Hoover died at 11 a.m. Thursday at an Iowa City hospital, after a short illness.
She was born Jan. 20, 1897, at Iowa City, the daughter of Chris and Clara Dostal Hohenschuh. The former Loretta C. Hohenschuh was married May 4, 1919, at Iowa City, to Guy Hoover.
A resident of Muscatine for the past 30 years, she was a member of St. Mathias church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by her husband, Guy Hoover; one son, Donald C. Hoover of Aurora, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Jeanne) Dourer of Davenport, and Mrs. Curtis (Margaret) Deems of Aurora; one sister, Mrs. Edwin (Mary) Harvat of Livinston, Mont.; and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
