Sammie Florence Hall is the first born child and Daughter of Alexander Selkirk Hall (nicknames CK/Kirk) and Sarah Elizabeth Kieth Hall. When Sammie was born in Fannin County, Texas, her Father was 25 years old and her Mother was 16 years old.

Sammie Florence Hall only lived until she was 1 year old. The circumstances of her death is not known. Sammie Florence Hall was laid to rest in the now Historical 'Shilo' Cemetery on Sloan's Creek, about 3 1/2 miles East of Bonham, Texas and Southwest of Dodd. Sammie Florence Hall's Headstone and the location of her resting place in the Shilo Cemetery has not been known for many years due to the condition of the Cemetery, many in family deceased. She has been miraculously found in February 2023. Her Headstone was found and is now photographed and posted here on her Memorial by a helpful 'Angel on Earth'. This Hall Survivor is and will be eternally grateful for this.

Many others' interred there no longer have markers or the stones are too worn and illegible, no longer standing, or in pieces on the ground in this very old Cemetery. The Cemetery has been overgrown, was neglected and difficult to find, and is located rather far back off of the side of the road. Several interred are young children or babies.

Sammie's Father is interred in the Historical New Salem Cemetery in Fannin, Texas, and her Grandfather Edmond Keith. There are other Hall's and extended family relatives there also, which includes Amanda Sina Lievsay. Her Mother is interred in South Fairview Cemetery in Wellington, Texas, her Brother Constantine Edmond Hall and his Wife, her Sister Tommie Elizabeth Hall Spear, Niece Florence Zula Hall Robinson, Nephew Robert Austin Hall, and many other family relations. More than many of Sammie's family members and extended family members are interred in those two Cemeteries, as well as Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove, Texas. Sammie Florence Hall did not live long enough to meet or know those beyond her Grandparents. However Sammie was loved and not forgotten.
