Laura Jane Manning, 74, of Crossville, passed away March 11, 2005. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 15, from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Pastor Linus Vaughn and Pastor Eliot Roberts officiated. Graveside committal services were held Wednesday at Crossville City Cemetery.
Ms. Manning was born June 29, 1930, in Akron, OH, the daughter of Leslie Asbury and Susan Margaret Pedigo Manning. She was a homemaker and attended Believers Fellowship Church.
She is survived by her sons, Mike Ritzman of Crossville and Terry Ritzman of Lapeer, MI; daughters Shelia Zuercher and Linda Beck, both of Crossville; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Jim Manning.
Pallbearers were Eric Ritzman, Michael Zuercher, Aaron Ritzman, Kevin Wood, Ben Beck and Jeff Smith.
Hood Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of the arrangements.
