Ada Katheryn Smithson Carrier, age 94, of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 11, 2008 at her home.
She was born August 8, 1914, a daughter of the late James "Jim" and Nora Bell Fleenor Smithson.
She lived her life in the Riverbend Community and was a member of Riverbend Baptist Church. She loved quilting and was a cafeteria worker for Emmett School for 35 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Carrier and infant son, James Paul Carrier.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 8:00 PM in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Lewis Clark officiating.
The burial will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in Shipley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wade Floyd, Mason Floyd, Travis Thompson, Drew Brush, Larry Carrier, Mike Whaley, Michael Whited and Tim Floyd.
