Nathan Etwell Efird, age 83, of Albemarle, N.C., died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, N.C. Efird was Owner and Operator of Efird Grocery Store and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. .
Born April 7, 1926 in Stanly County, he was the son of the late Cromer Efird and the late Rosetta (Whitley) Efird. He was also preceded in death by his wife Ruth (Simpson) Efird, who passed away in 1998.
