Beatrice "Bea" M. Lee, 88, of Chillicothe, died suddenly at 5:45 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2007 in OSU Hospital.
She was born August 29, 1918, in Ross County, the daughter of Charles E. and Clara C. Flack Hollis. On August 5, 1936, she married Carl R. Lee, who preceded her in death December 21, 2001
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and David LaRochelle, Diamond Head, MS, and Sally and Richard Bowen, Perdido Key, FL; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Cathy Lee, Chillicothe, and Alan and Judy Lee, Sunnyvale, CA; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Wolf, Chillicothe; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Her parents; 1 son, Larry Tim Lee; one grandson, Zachary Moody; 2 sisters, Ruth Francis and Norma Jean Hough; and one brother, Charles Hollis, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Lee was employed as a cafeteria worker and manager for the Chillicothe City Schools, retiring approximately 31 years ago. She was a devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Susan Henry Circle, and the Order of the Eastern Star #419.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2007, in the Fawcett Oliver Glass & Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Tad Grover officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
