Shirley Graham, age 72, of Dryden, MI, and formerly of Bagley, MN, passed away on Saturday (July 3rd) at her son’s residence in Dryden. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday (July 9th) at Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Bagley with the Rev. Rick Moore officiating. Interment will be in Kelliher Cemetery in Kelliher, MN. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Local arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston and messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com.

She was born in Fingal, North Dakota. At eight years of age Shirley’s family moved to Kelliher, Minnesota. She married Robert Graham at 18. They spent 6 years in Minnesota and then moved to Lake Orion, Michigan for work. After 28 years they retired from General Motors and moved back to Minnesota. They lived together in Bagley for 20 years. Robert and Shirley shared 52 years of marriage. Shirley has lived the last year with her children in Michigan.

Shirley loved animals especially pygmy goats. She had a special love for horses and she loved to give hugs.

Shirley Leona Graham passed into eternity on June 3, 2010 at 7:30 a,m. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children Mr. Todd Graham, Mr. & Mrs. Richard & Carmen Stiltner, Ms. Roseann Graham, and Mr. & Mrs. Alen & Cheryl Graham, her 13 grand children, one great grand child, her brothers Vernon and Richard Sumner, her sister Rose Cosselman, a large extended family, and many wonderful friends.

Preceded by her husband Robert Graham and parents Ralph and Alma Sumner.
