Dollie Lucinda McGlothlin, 85, of Raven, died May 4, 1997 in a Richlands hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Buchanan County and was a daughter of the late Rufus and Lilly Belle Deskins Wade both Buchanan Co., natives.
She was a lifelong resident of the Raven area and was of the Holiness faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Frederick (Jim) McGlothlin; two sisters, Monie Webb and Nan Davis; six brothers, Coy, Ernest, Earl, Marvin, Orde and Burt Wade. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Bill (Shirley) Mallory of Carlton, GA., Mrs. Donald ( Myrtle) Ball of Raven; sons, Clarence McGlothlin and Dolphis McGlothlin, both of Raven.
Sixteen grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted today at 2 p.m. at the Hurst Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with Rev. Charlie McGlothlin and Rev. Grady McGlothlin officiating.
Interment will follow in the Clinch Valley Cemetery in Richlands.
