Callie E. Hogle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur S. Vining was born October 12, 1889 near Mahaska, and died June 1, 1970 at the Republic County Hospital at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 20 days.
She was married to William Hogle March 22, 1910. Five children were born to this union.
They moved to the Narka community in the fall of 1921. She was a member of the Narka Methodist church.
Preceding her in death were two sons, Lester in infancy and Wesley William.
Survivors are; her husband; three daughters, Wilma, Sarabel, and Nellie; one sister, two brothers, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the Narka Presbyterian church with Rev. John W. Frint officiating. Interment was in Maple Grove cemetery.
