A funeral is Saturday, April 20, at 2 p.m. at New Macedonia Baptist Church, 7263 Church Street, Riverdale, Ga., with Rev. Gerry T. Anderson, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. G. B. Vaughn, Rev. Rufus Smith Sr., Rev. Gary Lewis and Rev. H. H. Dyer. Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be the New Macedonia Board of Deacons. Active pallbearers will be Abdur Hassan, Charles Keith, Randy B. Keith, Ronnie A. Keith, Stevens D. Keith, Warren D. Keith, Derrick O. Milton and Galen A. Phillips. Flower ladies will be members of the New Macedonia Board of Mothers and New Macedonia Deaconess Board.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 19 at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
The body will lie in state at the church Saturday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour. The cortege will assemble Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Gentle, Jonesboro, Ga. at noon.
Mrs. Williams was the seventh of fourteen born to the late Jimmie T. Keith and Ophelia Robinson Keith April 5, 1933 in Meiwether County, Ga. She married September 22, 1951 to the late Rev. Willie James Addie. They had one daughter, Patricia. At an early age she joined Saint Peter Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her marriage. She moved her membership to New Macedonia Baptist Church in Riverdale where she worked side by side with her husband who served as pastor. She was a devoted choir member and served faithfully on the Mother's Board.
Surviving are her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Gentle (Patricia); two granddaughters, Natalya and Whitney Gentle of Jonesboro; devoted friend, Chester Gipson; five sisters, Doris Manuel of Newnan, Gloria Keith of Newnan, Judy Chunn of Atlanta, LaRose Phillips of Newnan, Jeanette Keith of Newnan; three brothers, LaMar Keith of Detroit, MI, Mr. and Mrs. James Keith (Mildred) of Newnan, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Keith (Sarah) of Newnan; sister-in-law, Mrs. Martha Nell Keith (Newnan) and a brother/nephew, Mr. Willie Weaver (Aquasco, MD); two paternal aunts, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Phillips (Ethel) of Detroit, MI, Mrs. Leila Bell O'Neal of Morrow, Ga., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
