Diana Jean Taylor, 57, of 1881 Fayetteville-Owensburg Road, Bedford, died at 8:10 a.m. Thursday, February 5, at the Bedford Regional Medical Center.
Born December 27, 1946, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Robert and Charlotte (Fiddler) Abel. She married David Taylor in September, 1994, and he survives.
She was a homemaker and a laboratory technician/phlebotomist at Bedford Regional Medical Center for 28 years. She was a member of the Grace Full Gospel Church of Bedford.
Survivors include her husband, David Taylor of Bedford; three sons, Charlie Elkins and his wife, Lisa; Jim Elkins and his wife, Lori, and Gregg Taylor and his wife, Aleta, all of Bedford; one daughter, Lora Deckard and her husband, Michael, of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Jessica Elkins, Alyssa Elkins, Dustin Chumley, Devin Chumley, Dillon Chumley, Emily Taylor and Kaci Taylor; two brothers, Bob Abel and his wife, Carole, and John Abel and his wife, Darla, all of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, February 9, at the Grace Full Gospel Church of Bedford, with Pastor Brent O'Neal officiating. Burial will be in the Fayetteville Church of Christ Cemetery in Fayetteville. Friends my call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home of Bedford, and from noon until the time of service on Monday at the church.
