John Scoggins, of Nampa Idaho died on Tuesday September 17th, 2013. He was 69 years old. John was born on March 28, 1944 in Long Beach, California and spent most of his childhood in California and Texas. As an adult he settled in Ventura, California and also spent a number of years in Hawaii. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a proud member of the Iron Workers Union for over 39 years. He spent his retirement in Oregon and Idaho. In his personal time he enjoyed traveling, camping, water skiing, and fishing with his family and friends. He was a fun loving man with a magnetic personality and a keen sense of adventure. John lived his life without regrets.
John is preceded in death by second wife Jeannie, parents Roland and Mary, and brothers Ronald and Mike. He is survived by wife Elaine, brother Greg, stepbrother and friend Gary, first wife Glenda and their children John Jr and Geraine, stepchildren Chris and Cyndi, and three grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 15862 Indiana Ave, Caldwell, Idaho 83607 on Tuesday, September 24th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. All who knew him are welcome.
