Benjamin Erwin, 62, of Pensacola, died Thursday afternoon in a local hospital.
Mr. Erwin was a native of Louisiana and a resident of Pensacola since 1974. He served with the U.S. Army, was a veteran of WWII, a retired salesman with Gerber Foods and a member of the Olive Church of God.
Survivors include his widow, Reever Erwin of Pensacola; one daughter, Bonnie Jean Montgomery of California, five grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be 1 pm, Monday in the chapel at the Faith Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Powell and the Rev. Joe Brooks officiating.
Active pallbearers are Ken Flowers, Tom Selvidge, Calvin Barnett, Amos Grammer, Leon Bailey and Nick Oglesby.
