Gladys N. Anderson, 96, Belleville, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Republic County Hospital, Belleville.

Mrs. Anderson was born Feb. 21, 1890, on a farm near Cuba, Kan. She was a former Agenda resident, moving to Belleville in 1956. She was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Church of Clyde.

Her first husband, Cyrus Funkhouser, died in 1943, and her second husband, Levi Anderson, died in 1950.

Survivors include a sister, Yscle Murray of Pensacola, Fla.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Willoughby Cemetery, north of Agenda, the Rev. Jerry Broschart officiating.

Gladys N Anderson, age 96, of Belleville, died Tuesday, February 3, 1987, at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville.

She was born February 21, 1890, one of nine children born to John and Margaret Nichols Nixon near Cuba. She attended Boggs Rural School south of Agenda and Clyde High School. She was a member of the Christian Church of Clyde.

In 1909 she married Cyrus Funkhouser. After World War I they made their home in Milica, Minn. He died in 1943.

In 1950 she married Levi Anderson of Agenda. They made their home in Agenda until his death in 1955. In 1956 she moved to Belleville where she lived until her death. Preceeding her in death were her parents, husbands, three brothers, and four sisters.

Surviving is one sister, Yscle Murray of Pennsacola, Fla.

Graveside services were held February 6 at Willoughby Cemetery north of Agenda with Rev. Jerry Broschart officiating.
