Death of Mae Legler Burgson.
Friends and relatives here were shocked to learn of the sudden death last week of Mrs. Mae Legler BURGSON at her home in Chicago, Ill., which came as a result of a heart attack. Mrs. Burgson's sister, Mrs. T.R. PAXTON and Mrs. Clifford HALL, of Topeka had been visiting in the Burgson home and Mrs. Paxton was preparing to leave for Cleveland for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Russell SWILER, when her sister was stricken. Mrs. Burgson was the youngest of the Henry LEGLER family which formerly resided at the Oak Mills farm east of town. Her husband, Dr. Clarence Burgson, was a dentist in Chicago, having previously practiced in Leavenworth where they resided for some time. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon from the Lain Funeral Chapel in Chicago.
