"Covina Argus", Fri. Nov. 14, 1952:
Private Rites Are Held for Jerome Reynolds
Private funeral services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in Brown's chapel for Jerome Reynolds, former Covinan, who died of a heart attack November 6 at his home, 1040 Kensington road, Los Angeles. The Golden West commandery Knights Templar were in charge of the rites and burial was in Oakdale cemetery.
Mr. Reynolds, in seeming good health, had just returned to the house after talking to his son, Colin, in the driveway, when he was stricken. He had retired from the Board of Equalization a few years ago and was working with the Metropolitan Wilshire Development company which he had helped organize at the time of his death.
Born in Carrollton, Missouri, August 14, 1881, Mr. Reynolds came to Covina with his family in the early 1900's remaining here until the time of his marriage in 1918 to Alma Whitaker, former Los Angeles Times columnist.
Surviving him are his widow, a son, Colin of Los Angeles, a brother, Irven Gibbs Reynolds and a sister, Victoria Reynolds of Covina, and two grandchildren. His son, Jerry, a lieutenant in the Air Force was killed in World War II.

Suggested edit: George was cremated at the Chapel of the Pines Crematory and is also a columbarium located at 1605 South Catalina Street, Los Angeles.
