She married John Alger, son of Samuel & Clarissa Hancock Alger, on April 22, 1856 in Salt Lake City, Utah as a plural wife. Regula and John had a daughter Sophia. She divorced John and married Francis Frederic Roulet on April 17, 1860 in Utah. Regula and Frederic were the parents of four children: Albert F., Juliet C., William and Lydia Adelina Roulet. Frederic died in 1885 and is buried in Santa Clara Cemetery, Santa Clara, Utah.
