  Harry Fiesler, 78, of 903 Prickett avenue died at 12:15 a.m. Friday, after a lingering illness, at the Rest Home in Troy where he had been for the past week. He was a lifelong resident of Edwardsville and worked in the coal mines for 50 years. He was born April 5, 1876 in Edwardsville.
  He was married to Miss Emma Virginia Nonte of St. Louis July 6, 1911, in Edwardsville. Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Frank E. (Emma) Chandler, Edwardsville; one step-daughter, Mrs. Roy (Carrie) Daum, St. Louis; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Flavin, Mrs. Lena Merkel and Miss Elizabeth Fiesler, Edwardsville, and three grandchildren. Two brothers preceded him in death.
  He was a member of the Progressive Miners local.
  Friends may call at the Lesley Marks funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday until 2 p.m. Sunday when funeral services will be held from the funeral home with the Rev. R.F. Tormohlen officiating.
  Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
