FROM THE ELYRIA CHRONICLE TELEGRAM...
Frank D. Longbon, husband of Janet Longbon died at his home on Cowley Road, North Eaton, Sunday at 11 a.m. He had been in failing health for the past three years. He was born July 18, 1866, in the home where he died, and spent his entire life in Eaton where he was a farmer.
He was a member of the Columbia Baptist Church and was affiliated with the Macabee Lodge for 40 years.
Aside from his wife he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Ellen Hawke of N. Eaton, and sons Charles D., Robine Fay and Frank W. all of Washington, D.C.; also 11 grandchildren; one brother Charles of Elyria; 3 sisters, Mrs. Mary Sumne of Berea, Mrs. Jennie Cole of North Eaton and Mrs. Grace Longbon of Alberta, Canada.
The body will be taken from the Nichols Funeral Home to the late home Tuesday morning, and funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Columbia Baptist church, with Reverend Bickford officiating. Interment in Columbia Cemetery.
