A TOT DROWNS, A BODY FOUND

RANDOLPH -- A two-year-old girl drowned shortly after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday when she climbed the stairs to a backyard swimming pool and fell in, according to police.

Jamie ALPERT, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph ALPERT of 12 Imrie Street, was pronounced dead by Dr. David E. Weiner.

Dr. Weiner and Dr. Mayer Rubenstein, both neighbors of the ALPERTs, rushed to the yard. Dr. Weiner accompanied the child to the Carney Hospital.
