Found a note from his grand daughter who went to the national archives in 1953 and returned with two interesting tidbits. 1 - he was killed at Kennesaw Mountain June 27th 1864 and buried there. 2 - he was 45 years of age, which puts his birth in 1819. Feb 11, 1864 was his muster in date.
