The obsequies of Mrs. Mary E. Jeffers, wife of Mr. C.C. Jeffers, who died at the
residence of her father, Mr. P.T. Barrett, No. 807 Tunstall avenue, Thursday,
were held from the Cumberland Street M.E. Church at 5 o'clock yesterday
afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. Dr. H.E. Johnson. Interment in
Elmwood cemetery. Following were the pall-bearers: F.C. Miller, J.A. Williams,
H.T. Parsons, F.B.Pullen, W.D. Nye, W. Cox, S. Kain and A.D. Lawrence.
