Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with the Rev. Grafton Shaw officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery here.
Mr. Bonnette, a native of Atlanta, was a member of the Methodist Church. He was a resident of Winnfield for many years.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Minnie Lee Bonnette of Winnfield; two sons, Raiford E. Bonnette, Jr., of Shreveport and David Bonnette of Brevard, N.C.; five daughters, Mrs. Hazel Neal, Mrs. Marjorie Whittington, Mrs. Evelyn Ellis, all of Shreveport, Mrs. Doris Spikes of Montgomery, and Mrs. Eleanor McKenzie of Homer; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
