Linda Bivens Carroll of Connelly Springs, entered her eternal resting place Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at her residence, after a brief illness.

Mrs. Carroll was born Dec. 18, 1968, in Burke County, a daughter of Kenneth and Helen Davis Bivens of Connelly Springs.

Linda was a faithful member and pastor's wife, of the Cross Roads Church of God in Statesville.

She was employed in the family business, Kaylow Furniture Co., Connelly Springs.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Freddie Carroll of the home; one son, Corey Carroll of Morganton; and two daughters, Kayla Carroll of Hickory and Mary Carroll of the home. Also surviving are three sisters, Pamela Crowder and husband, Buddy, of Morganton, Kimberly Smith and husband, Mark, of Drexel and Jennifer Wood and husband, Tom, of Rutherford College; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Linda Bivens Carroll will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18, in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese, with the Revs. James Bumgarner and David Freeman officiating.

Interment will follow, in the St. John's Baptist Church Cemetery.
