Michael Anthony Stoker, 47, of Star died on Tuesday (May 4, 2004) at his residence.
A funeral will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday (today) at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Connor officiating. Burial followed in Leach Cemetery.
The family received friends on Thursday, May 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at other times at the home of Tony Connor in Eagle Springs.
A native of Montgomery County, Mr. Stoker was a furniture assembler.
Mr. Stoker is survived by his sisters, Jean Davis of West End and Patricia Cocklin of Clarksville, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Michael Stoker Memorial Fund for the hearing impaired, Attention: Kate Tuomala, 1902-K N. Sandhills Blvd., Aberdeen, NC 28315.
