Mrs. Mary A. Royalty, one of the oldest and most beloved women of the Bohon section, died last Thursday night of pneumonia, aged seventy-seven years. Since early girlhood Mrs. Royalty had been a devout member of the Baptist church. Funeral services were held at the Bohon Methodist church by Rev. W. D. Moore, assisted by Rev. Campbell, and the interment took place in the old family burying ground. She leaves to mourn her death, four sons, S. W., W. E., G. B. and John L. Royalty, and a daughter, Mrs. Anna S. Payne, and a sister, Mrs. Rachel Tunks, of Anderson, who is 80 years of age, but who, on being apprised of her sister's illness, drove 18 miles through the cold at night to be at her bedside.
