He was retired from Citizens Gas and Coke Company. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He attended Eagle Creek Grace Brethren Church and had been a precinct committeeman for the Republican Party.
He was preceded in death by his wife Janice Williams; sisters, Nola Frederick Eva Armes and Wilma Ritchie and brother Leon Williams.
He is survived by children, Rebecca (William) Owsley, Mark (Judy) Williams and Stephanie Weekly; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
