Friedrich Wilhelm Christoph Biesemeier, also known as "Fritz", was born Dec. 23, 1836 in Trudt, Alverdissen, Lippe-Detmold, Germany. He was christened on Jan. 8, 1837 in Bega, Lippe-Detmold. Friedrich "Fritz" was the second of eight children born to Friedrich Wilhelm Biesemeier (b. Oct. 7, 1812), and his first wife Anna Katherine Luise ADAM Biesemeier. Anna, (b. 1807), was the first of twelve children born to Simon Friedrich Christoph Adam and Amalia KUHFUSS Adam. "Fritz"'s parents Friedrich and Anna were married Apr. 8, 1838 in Boesingfeld, Lippe-Detmold, Germany. Friedrich "Fritz"'s father Friedrich married Anna's youngest sister Dorothea Justina Luise ADAM in 1854 and had eleven more children. Thus "Fritz" had eighteen siblings.
Friedrich "Fritz" married Caroline Sophie Wilhelmine BICKER on Mar. 2, 1862 in Alverdissen, Lippe, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Their family departed from Bremen, Germany to Southampton, England and arrived in New York, USA in 1872.
