Jessie Lou Sparks, 92, of Fort Worth, formerly of Austin, Texas passed away Wednesday the 11th of September.
Lou was a nurse and taught nursing in nursing schools at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas Christian University, and the University of Michigan.
She has been staying in the Autumn Leaves Alzheimer's and Memory Care Residence in Fort Worth, Texas to be near her family.
Jessie Lou is preceded in death by her husband Dr. Claud Glenn Sparks. Survivors are daughter Anne Sparks; granddaughter Madeline; sister Carolyn Lischio and nephew Dan Mandeville.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17th at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock Drive.
