Mrs. Lucille Marie Tudor passed away at the Bashaw Community Health Care Centre, July 2, 1996 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband Adney Jennings Tudor in 1986. She is loved and will be sadly missed by two sons and daughters in law, Hugh (Bud) and Joan of Vancouver, and Edward (Ed) and Lottie of Calgary; three daughters and sons in law, Pearl and Alex MacLeod of Lacombe, Alberta, Myrtle and Mel Wolstoncroft of Calgary, and Ruby and Robert Coyle of Lethbridge. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Terry DeWindt, Bob Dench, Barrie Wolstoncroft Cheryl Holley, maria Jean McGeorge, Cameron Barton and Wendy Jogia and eleven great grand children; one sister Calena of Ohio; and one brother Lewis Johnson of Montana.
Lucille was born in Sorento, Illinois, moved to Montana and then to Portland Oregon, where she graduated from high school, worked and met and married Adney (Joe) Tudor in 1927. They moved to the family farm east of Wilson Siding, Alberta, to raise their five children.
Lucille was lovingly devoted to her husband and family and was known for her optimistic and cheerful attitude to life.
Funeral Services will be held from the chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME (17 Avenue S.E. at Garden Road, Calgary) on Monday, July 8, 1996 at 3:;; p.m. with Pastor Paul Workentine, Lakeview Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Calgary, 1920, 11 St. S.E., T2G 3G2. Arrangements entrusted to MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY and FUNERAL HOME (17 AVENUE S.E. AT GARDEN ROAD). Telephone272-5555 .
