SAN ANTONIO, TX. - Clark Gilbert Davis, age 86, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013. He was born in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota on February 9, 1927 to Harold and Helen Davis.

Clark served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1946, as part of the occupation of Japan. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He spent over 30 years involved in electrical distribution systems in South Texas, working for Central Power & Light Company and his own company, Davco. Clark and Joan lived in San Benito, Laredo, Aransas Pass and the Reagan Wells/Uvalde area before retiring to San Antonio.

He was involved in Boy Scouts, the United Methodist Church and the Sons of the American Revolution. Clark worked with the Texas Archaeology Society on the history of the Chihuahua Trail.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Davis, who died in 2011.
He is survived by his children, Lynn Sullivan and husband, Mark of Fort Worth, Holly Davis of Austin and Jonathan Davis and wife, Krystal of Houston and grandsons, Wesley Davis of Lewisville and James Davis of Houston.

Memorial Service Saturday September 21, 2013 2:30 P.M. The Meadows 730 Babcock Road San Antonio, Texas 78201. A private interment will follow at a later date in Reagan Wells, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Bob King Ministries/Hungry Kids International, P.O. Box 87, Quemado, TX 78877. Please designate your donation in memory of Clark G. Davis.
