Earnest Addison Tolley, 99, of Pulaski, died Thursday afternoon at his home.

He was born in Bedford County, Sept. 21, 1888, and was the son of the late John Tolley and Virginia May Tolley.

He was a member of the Thornspring United Methodist Church and was Past Master of the Virginia May Masonic Lodge #38 of Radford.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Clyde (Frances), Morehead of Norfolk; three sons, J.E. Tolley of Christiansburg, E.G. (Peg) Tolley of Princeton, W.Va., Ralph A. Tolley of Pulaski; two step-sons, Arnold M. Bland, L. D. Bland, both of Louisville, Ky; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hurst of Pulaski; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granchild.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harold Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Stevens Funeral Home in Pulaski. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Thornspring United Methodist Church.
