Richard A. "Richie" Baugh, 49, of Bloomington, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at IU Health-Bloomington Hospital. He was born on March 27, 1964 in Greencastle, the son of Richard L. Baugh and Charlene (Shields) Baugh. He attended Owen Valley High School and worked in the health care industry for several years.

While a student in high school, he participated in theatrical productions; he enjoyed singing and loved music. He spent some time working in photography and always enjoyed animals.

He is survived by his mother, Charlene Baugh of Bloomington; his father and stepmother, Richard L. and Rebecca Baugh of Madison; one sister, Lycia (Chris Barnett) Eads of Bloomington; his half-sister, Jessica Baugh of Whitehall; one step-sister, Angela Hamm of Bloomington; his grandmother, Elizabeth Shields of Spencer; and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by one stepbrother, Andrew Hamm; two aunts, Debbie Shields and Rebecca Boucher; and his grandparents, Robert Baugh, Renda Walls and Charles F. Shields.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Monroe County Humane Society in Bloomington.
