MRS. J. S. McCONNELL
Sarah Ann McLemore was born February 24, 1894 [sic], in Monroe County Tennessee, and died September 17, 1923, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. P. Davis near Greenfield.

She was the daughter of Arch and Mary McLemore. Her parents were among the early settlers, coming to Missouri when she was a child. She was married to J. S. McConnell February 21, 1878. To this union four children were born, two girls and two boys, namely, Mrs. S. P. Davis, A. T. McConnell, Mrs. S. P. Scott and Jasper McConnell.

Her husband died Nov.. 13, 1921. Since that time she has made her home with her daughters. She had been in poor health for the past two years. She suffered a stroke of paralysis last week from which she never recovered.

She was converted early in life and united with the Cumberland Presbyterian church, and live faithful to her religion until death. She was a good and Kind Neighbor. She leaves to mourn her loss, three brothers, R. F. McLemore of Greenfield, Mo., W. Y. McLemore of Bolivar, Mo., J. M. McLemore of Warner, Okla., four children, nine grand children and a host of neighbors and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the C. P. Church in Greenfield, September 18, by Rev. W. r. Russell of Everton, Mo. Her remains were laid to rest in the beautiful Greenfield Cemetery.
