The funeral was at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 15, 1998, at New Horizon Memorial Chapel with burial at Lynn's Crossing Cemetery. The Revs. Glen McCall and Doug Tate officiated. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home directed.
He was a retired security guard, a member of the Alabama National Guard and Grace Baptist Church of Sumiton.
He is survived by his sister, Ellen Sue Cochran of Dora; and several nieces and nephews.
