The service will be Saturday, August 18, 10:00 AM at Washington St. Church of Christ in Quincy with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, August 17 at Independent Funeral Home (850-875-1529) in Quincy.
A lifelong resident of Gadsden County, he worked in the Agriculture business for many years also served in the U.S.
Navy from 1955 to 1959.
He was a member of Washington St. Church of Christ. His loves were family, fishing, and Seminoles.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Montrose M. Monk.
