Leland Stanford Winstian, 74, of Orwigsburg, passed away Friday evening at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Pottsville, Sept. 26, 1938, he was a son of the late Saul S. and Goldie Holstein Winstian.
He was a member of Oheb Zedeck Synagogue, Pottsville, and a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1956.
Leland was the founder and president of Cressona Textile Waste Inc., Cressona, since 1970.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant son, and his sister, Selma Winstian Clark.
Leland is survived by his wife, Henrietta "Freddie" Aaronson, to whom he was married for 44 years; a daughter, Nikki Lynn, wife of Edward Rudy, Henderson, Nev.; a son, Shawn Michael Winstian, Orwigsburg; grandchildren, E.J., Dustin and Hayden Rudy; a brother-in-law, Donald Clark, Elizabethtown; nieces and nephews.
Interment in Oheb Zedeck Cemetery, Pottsville. Lord-Bixler Funeral Home Inc. in charge of arrangements.
